I am Unable to Update PowerPack from WP Dashboard

PowerPack Beaver Builder Addon comes with 1-click upgrade feature. This means you can upgrade to latest version of PowerPack from WordPress admin.

In case, you are unable to update PowerPack then please follow these steps:

1. Activate your License Key

You won’t be able to update PowerPack without an active license key. So, make sure that you have registered PowerPack or Activated the License Key on your site.

You can get your license key from My Account section on the site. Also, check – How to register/activate your license key.

2. Disable any Password Protection

While building client sites, we often enable Password Protection. This can block updates. Some web hosts like Flywheel and WP Engine have Password Protection feature. You will need to disable that to receive PowerPack updates.

3. Disable Maintenance Mode/Coming Soon Mode Plugin

Maintenance Mode and Coming Soon Mode Plugins also block the updates for PowerPack. These plugins work similar to Password Protection and hence the update server can’t connect to your site.

4. Deactivate and Reactivate License Key

If you have an active license key and there’s no password protection or maintenance mode plugin on your site then simply try to deactivate and reactivate your License Key. This has been tried and tested by some users. It works.
